We do NOT track your browsing history, clicks, searches, or personal identity. All features operate locally on your device:

• Local Storage: Your bookmarks, custom folders, themes, and settings are saved directly in your browser using standard chrome.storage.local.
• Optional GitHub Gist Cloud Backup: When you connect your own GitHub Personal Access Token (PAT), your backup data is stored in your private GitHub Gist under your own control. We do not operate any middleman servers.

If you use the "Local Mode" (without signing in), all your data remains locally on your device and is never transmitted to our servers.

3. How We Use Your Data

We use your data exclusively to provide the core functionality of the extension (synchronizing your start page preferences across devices). We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with any third parties.

4. Data Security

Your data is stored securely using Google Firebase infrastructure, which complies with strict security standards. Access to your data is protected by Google OAuth 2.0 authentication.

5. Your Rights

You can delete your synchronized data at any time by uninstalling the extension or disconnecting your account. If you wish to have your data completely removed from our servers, you may contact us.
