Privacy Policy

Last Updated: September 8, 2026 | Extension: Extensity+ HaYTooL

Executive Summary: Extensity+ HaYTooL does NOT collect, store, transmit, or sell any personal or sensitive user data. The extension functions entirely within your local browser sandbox and has zero external telemetry.

1. Information Collection & Usage

Extensity+ HaYTooL is built with an offline-first and strict privacy architecture. We do not collect or transmit:

  • No personally identifiable information (name, email address, IP address, etc.)
  • No browser history, search history, or visited URLs
  • No analytical telemetry or usage event trackers
  • No keystrokes, form submissions, or clipboard contents

2. Browser Permissions & Purpose

Extensity+ HaYTooL requests only the absolute minimum permissions strictly necessary to manage your browser extensions:

  • management: Used exclusively to list, enable, and disable extensions and apps installed in your browser upon your explicit user interaction.
  • storage: Used solely to save your local UI preferences (such as selected theme, work profiles, and always-on extension pins) on your local machine.

3. Data Storage & Cloud Backup Feature

All configuration data, profiles, and preferences are stored locally in your browser's internal storage (chrome.storage.local or chrome.storage.sync).

Optional GitHub Gist Cloud Sync: If you explicitly choose to use the Cloud Sync feature, the extension communicates directly between your local browser and GitHub's official API using your own Personal Access Token (PAT). No data passes through any intermediate servers or third-party servers.

4. Third-Party Sharing

We do not share, transfer, or sell your information to any third parties, advertisers, or data brokers. There are no embedded tracking SDKs, analytics libraries (e.g. Google Analytics), or advertisements.

5. Compliance with Store Policies & Technical Standards

This privacy policy strictly complies with the official technical and certification standards for browser extension stores, including policies regarding Personal Information and user privacy protection.
